Our collaboration with Foot Locker began with a trip from their London store to the heart of NBA Paris, marking the start of a basketball adventure!
Stepping into 2023, we had the privilege of partnering with Foot Locker, a name synonymous with our love for basketball and sneaker culture. Our collaboration took off with a bang, and what better stage to kickstart the journey than the NBA Paris game?
The adventure began on London's Oxford Street, at the Foot Locker House of Hoops store. As long-time sneakerheads, we felt at home, reminiscent of the countless times we found ourselves eagerly waiting in line for the latest basketball shoe releases. This time, however, we were getting geared up for an experience of a lifetime.
Kitted out in Foot Locker's latest heat, we embarked on our voyage to Paris, with the city hosting the NBA face-off between Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls. The energy within the Accor Arena was electrifying, a testament to the universal passion for the game we all love.
However, our collaboration with Foot Locker was about much more than just wearing the latest heat and attending cool events. Foot Locker's commitment to nurturing the UK's basketball community aligns closely with our ethos at SBB. Their collaborative efforts with the NBA and our friends at Hoopsfix to renovate the Clapham Common Basketball Court have been transformative for the local community.
Today, the court stands as a beacon of inspiration, bustling with activity at all hours and often packed even after dark, thanks to the addition of floodlights. It's a testament to what can be achieved when brands invest in grassroots basketball facilities.
