The Gadget Show - Phone testing
We featured on Channel 5's Gadget Show, comparing the iPhone 14 with the Nothing Phone in some basketball related testing.
Tech & Basketball Collaboration
The folks at The Gadget Show reached out, wanting to feature us in the opening episode of their brand-new season on Channel 5. We helped Jon Bentley judge a tech face-off, putting the new Impossible Phone against the trusty iPhone 14. Considering how much we rely on phones for all our content creation, it was a perfect chance for us to offer our two cents.
The showdown took place at the Leicester Riders Arena, a spot we're pretty familiar with and we tested the phones out by recording some of the Riders players in action. It was a practical way to compare these two phones, showing Jon and the audience what it’s really like to use them in the field.
The iPhone is a swish
The iPhone ultimately came out on top thanks to it's excellent photo and video capabilities, but the Nothing phone's design certainly impressed us!
Promoting UK Basketball
Making our first appearance on primetime TV was definitely a highlight for us. Not only did we get to test some of the best tech in the industry, but we also got to promote basketball to a national audience.
In the end, it was a nice reminder of our dual roles: not only are we basketball enthusiasts, but we're also content creators who rely heavily on technology. A big thanks to The Gadget Show for having us and we're looking forward to exploring more opportunities like this one in the future!
